Microchipping
A microchip is one of the best ways to ensure your beloved pet makes it home safely in the event that he or she wanders off or is lost. In a very simple procedure, a small chip (about the size of a rice grain) is inserted under the skin between the pet's shoulder blades. When the animal is scanned, the chip's code appears on the reader, allowing the pet to be linked to you through a database so you can be reunited.
